The Parker Family History website is a work in progress! I am still editing, and puting information online. Check back often for updates.

I am expecting the Andrews Chapel's church records from  the UNC archives to arrive in the near future. This is the lost church records from 1755 - 1955.

These chruch records are referenced in many DAR applications and verified by the DAR.


In the picture above, I am wearing a Columbus Depot issue uniform that my 3rd great grandfather, Pvt. John Jackson Parker who served with the 25th Alabama Infantry Regiment Company A would have worn.

He defended his homeland in the following battles:

Shiloh, He was wounded at Stones River Murfreesboro, Farmington, Chattanooga, Chickamauga, Missionary Ridge, Dalton, New Hope, Jonesboro, Columbia, SC.
He fought Sherman’s Front, at Kinston, and Bentonville.
